Up for a quiz?

How many ways that you can think of for getting from east of the river to west of the river without crossing the river itself?

No getting help from other players, or using regions that are closed when there's only one person in the game (like the pagoda), and no getting stuck (i.e. carried across the river by the thief while inside an object that you can't get out of).

Here's the form: http://goo.gl/forms/nGCfn3MNFa

If you include your persona name then I'll follow up here with how many you got. Can you think of more than 10!? There's one that I can think of that it's possible no-one will get.

The ones that people don't get much I may turn into a rumour hint.

Enjoy!

So far:

Ahti - 2 (no incorrect answers)
Kaif - 9 (after eliminating a duplicate, and an answer I excluded)

Fun answer that I disallowed retroactively with a new rule (no death / quitting allowed):

* Silly death from wyvern and re-enter west of the river.

So coming back as zombie10 doesn't count?

Just east to west, or can we also do west to east?

Some pretty tough competition from Kiwi and Folly:

Kiwi - 12! (after eliminating duplicates)
Folly - 11 (including the one they gave as "not X" because X does work)

Someone got one that I'd missed which means there's quite a few to be found! I gave credit for this one because I know exactly what they're talking about: "9d another one that eludes me at the mo".

The two that no-one has got yet are the ones that are far more effort than they are worth. One everyone uses all the time, the other very few people know about and is way too much effort.

The only one that everyone has got is the grandfather clock.

I have 16 on my list. Can you guess what they all are?!

Hehe. Some of you are trying to find more solutions:

Q: Do various places you can drop the xxx count as a different answer ?
A: Nope. I'm counting that as one way.

Q: You've also just made me try to summon the xxx.
A: It's possible. You're missing the super-obscure step to make this possible. This is the one that's way too much hassle that I bet only a few know about. I just tried to verify this for myself but the dragon caught me <-- hint.

Kaif is up to 10 (with one new non-duplicate that meets the criteria).

Lots more ideas from folks. Various ways of getting a object placed west of the river and then taking advantage of it's location don't count as new ways of traveling across the river.

I have one that I know nobody else has. But since I am only at 12 plus that one, I intend to keep thinking.

Or 14 plus that one if the pagoda opens

Submit your methods, Hawumph. If it includes one that I do t have then I'll share my very impractical one with you. Although it's not really useful, and I'm tempted to post a log of me doing the final part as a teaser (which will make sense when you see the log).

Both Kiwi and Kaif got some more...

Kiwi - 13! (I'd double counted before - the total is correct now)
Kaif - 12

To one of you: your answer was missing detail, can you add it?

if we count pagoda ones like I assume havoc is counting normal ones I'd say two pagoda methods and 1 duplicate, depending on which way you look at it <--- hint

Some more ways that probably work:

- Move the cannon to the top of the hill next to the monastery. Point it west. Climb in and light the fuse.

- Get a load of snow from North Mountain. Build a ski slope and ramp down the hill. Jump the river using the cricket bats as skis.

- Fashion a hand glider out the dragons wings.

How many am I up to now?
