Yup, you heard me!
I think it's about time for another one. I'll arrange the wizard team and get them a captain... and unless people hugely object, I'll captain the mortal team!
If we get enough interest, it should happen quite soon. Me thinks we'll have more than enough mortals, it's just getting enough wizards on at once to make the teams fair. I'm looking for at least a 5 VS 5.
Post and stuff..

What does that entail?
We all get sorcerised and sit around in the tea room, discussing cakes?

A good D&D tactic that!

No worries, wizards should be being contacted as we speak.. I've yet to hear anything back yet.
I'll keep you updated.

If you post a date then players might have more idea if they are able to commit or not.
Foddy gave you some good ideas on how to get this off the ground too.

Well 20th October is MUD's 29th anniversary, but its probably too late to organise something on such short notice.
As long as I have a week's notice then I'm probably free on any day of the week.
Over to you, Heiach..

It might be too short a notice for this year but at least we've got enough time to sort out a big event to celebrate the 30th anniversary next year

Indeed Karya.
All old players contacted and got to a meet?
Cenedra was going to organise another meet for 2008, maybe for the 30th anniversary, on weekend of 17-20th Oct could be the one ?
Obviously need to speak to Richard Foddy, you etc.
V
Although just remembered people were after a summer Worthing meet ... I am easy though! Love to see a 30th anniversary celebration... I've been in the Land for a lot ( not all you scallywags!!! ) of that!!! Since early MUD1

I have a radical suggestion.. we could do a summer meet AND a 30th anniversary one!

Count me in for the bash!
A MUDmeet to celebrate 30 years of MUD sounds good to me!

Ok, I'll say a date to get things off of the ground eh?
Thursday the 15th of November?
Thursday the 13th of December?
Could take the place of the bash or occur before it?
Lemme know what you think..
Input please!
(A reminder for wizards to mudmail me if you're interested. Your team needs a few more volunteers.)
