The constant invis thing is a little bizarre...

I mean, I've played with every player who has made wiz in the last 5-6 years, talked to them in game and shared together mutual loves of Barbies, Lycra and high heels.

Then they make wiz and I never hear from them again.. and a lot of the time never even see them again.

True, my acidic personality and insistance on calling everybody 'Mum' could have something to do with this.

I can't speak for everyone, but as to the reason i was usually invis when i was on, to put it quite simply, was those small minority of players who were consantly argumentative or combative<anti-wiz>. Being from an opposite time zone, i wasn't on often with a ton of other players, but when i had a stretch of 5 times in a row where i went vis and had certain players take their frustrations at the game or other players out on me, it was like forget it, if I want to talk to someone I will just enlighten them from now on, a game is meant to be fun, not constant drama. That's all for now, i'm half asleep here.

Peace,
Corwin

Crowley, you haven't made wiz yet?!? And yeah, I haven't been on a ton lately. And wizzes are supposed to be nice! It might be unseemly to just sit in tea room insulting people!<g>

It never stopped Turrican

And also: this is similar to a discussion I had with Serenity in another thread. I would much rather wizards were visible and actually themselves, than invisible and trying to uphold some fantasy about how lovely and polite wizards are supposed to be.

I don't think the event calender has been used EVER!

Karya is (as far as I know), on the job of tidying up the website.
