That is only the case until you reach level 5, after which you will appear in a random forest. Also, when your score is zero you will always end up at narrow road between lands.

Level 5? That explains why I've never seen that behaviour...

I believe I am right in saying that in BL you can leave the Tearoom in any direction and they all lead to different rooms but always the same one for any particular direction.
I much prefer what we have here where it seems more random and versatile, even though the given rooms you get to is still limited. If they were not, you could find yourself in the Wizz's sauna. And who wants that?

I much prefer the BL way, where there is more of an element of skill in kit running (knowing the fastest routes, and how to prioritise for items). In MUD2 your foe can get lucky and end up right on top of a crucial piece of kit, while you arrive in some far away place in the middle of a group of undead (or vice versa). This is especially noticable in MUD2 where kit is extremely important, whereas in BL you can have every good item in the Land and still lose a fight to a better player.

The Armand Variable.
The fact that every single thread on this website will eventually come down to discussing BL.
Sigh

I dunno why Armand goes on about BL so much CF.
British Leyland made cr*p cars.
Even worse!
I've just noticed Armand used the frankly despicable word 'prioritise' in his most recent post!!!
If you have a moment next time you see him C.F.
FOD HIM!!!
