Hi All

I've often fancied organising a mudmeet, I just never found a venue that I fancied near me.

Then I was looking on Facebook, and realised that quite a few mudders also like festivals.

Now given that this is about 5 miles from where I live, anyone fancy going to the Wickerman Festival next "summer" (summer in quotes as a disclaimer, you cannot guarantee summer weather in Scotland, even in Summer!).

Check out the site, look at the line-up, and let me know what you think?

I can sort out lifts to/from the site for showers etc. so it won't be too "festivaly". Unless you want it to be. And the burning of the wicker man at the end of Saturday night is most impressive. or so they tell me </comatose>

Just need Frankie Boyle and the Proclaimers to make it a classic...

I assume there is a bar there!

Oh no, I have become teetotal recently, and am against the demon drink in all its forms. Oooh look, a flock of pigs!

Definitely a bar, in fact a huge marquee. Just in case drinking needs to be done under cover.

Need a marquee to stop the rain watering the beer!

Heard you had gone teetotal, and wearing a tartan skirt!

Press on Haw, any decent digs nearby?

A music festival during the British summer is probably the best place for a mud meet.

I will only go if I get to see CF wearing a kilt.

Roy,

You do NOT want to see CF in a kilt ... not if you wish to sleep again!

Ask heiach....

It came from Royston! I hope you intend to suitably punish him!
