This is the first bash I've participated in for quite a while. I am pleased to say that this one was a success.

As Zalagar, I started out a superheroine. Not being able to WH, I decided to go after the watersnakes first. I found the staff almost right away, and headed off to fight water-snakes. Along the way, I picked up the mouse.

In the underground cave, I found the longsword, so I dropped the staff. Folly later found it when looking for the ls. I went on to fight the water-snakes, taking a break when everyone gathered for the 'pillar party'. Alexander had disposed of the basilisk.

Plonk fought with the ox at the south mountain, and it fled. I encountered it later at the west lush pasture.

On the way back to the watersnakes, I disposed of the mouse, the ox, the ram, a zombie, and four fireflies, and then finished the rest of the water-snakes. I killed the snowbird, but left the pony behind for a muser to finish.

Meanwhile, Rhedvitra the warlock arrived in the bash, but had to settle for the falchion as a weapon since most of us had grabbed the other weapons. Alexander reported the dagger being in the hut within the first ten minutes.

I disposed of rat12, left over in the cellar, and also killed the fox. I had a little backup when dealing with the swan. Someone crippled it, though I'm not sure why since the swan usually can't go very far anyway.

Folly and Alexander did the keep. Folly started fighting the griffin on his own before Alexander came along to help finish it off.

Rhedvitra, at some point, took on the mermaid at sea. He said later that "the mermaid was crazy, fled 10 times and blinded me three times so i couldnt tell to which direction she fled".

Sounds to me like it was quite a fight.

Alexander, meanwhile, disposed of most of the dwarfs. I joined in to help get rid of the burly dwarf guards and the surly dwarf guards, Alexander managing to steal the shortsword before finishing the surlies.

Rhedvitra, at necro, managed to summon skeleton0 at the hut on his third try. A bunch of us finished sk0 off there.

Soon we were down to just four mobiles. The shark0, the jellyfish, the golem and one other mystery mobile. The mystery mobile turned out to be an extra parrot that was also in the inner sanctum. How it got there and why was it there is a mystery.

But anyway, Alexander finished those off, and the bash was a success with 35 minutes to spare.

Afterward, I successfully used the touchstone to become a sorceress.

All in all, a great bash, and a fun time.

Alexander the warlock
Folly the sorcerer
Plonk the sorcerer
Rhedvitra the warlock
Zalagar the sorceress

OK, (Alexander the bash-general warlock) mocks the parrot.
(*)You hit the parrot (1-4).
The parrot looks fit.
The parrot misses you.
(*)The parrot says "won't you say you love me too?".
(*)You hit the parrot (15-19).
The parrot looks critically injured.
The parrot misses you.
(*)The parrot says "what fun adventures shall we get up to today?".
Valetant tells you "We are defeating the caitiff!".
(*)val foe
The value of the parrot is 30 points.
(*)You miss the parrot.
The parrot misses you.
(*)You hit the parrot (20-29).
You have killed the parrot.
(+30 = 57,638).
You feel as if a tremendous evil has been rid from The Land! No pawns of darkness sully it with their presence. The relief of generations of souls floods through your being!
(+3,000 = 60,638).
The parrot has just passed on.

I'd like to add that much of the information in that report came from stuff I didn't see, but learned about from speaking with the others after the bash. I wanted to be sure I didn't just talk about my own experiences during the bash, and make sure the others' experiences were also mentioned.

Of course they're welcome to reply to give their own accounts if they wish.

Oh, and by the way, here's what a bash record sign said after the bash...

20/09/2012 - 35 minutes left (Xiax, Royston, Hjorvard, Moonlight and Teslacoil)
06/12/2012 - 35 minutes left (Rhedvitra, Zalagar, Folly, Alexander and Plonk)
13/09/2012 - 30 minutes left (Xiax, Royston, Hjorvard, Folly and Hood)
04/10/2012 - 136 seconds left (Deafknell, Secondlook and Teslacoil)

I thought I heard a drum roll in the distance. Then again, maybe it was Blib working his arcane magic.

Now that Royston is back I'm leaving bash reports to the professionals

Will it be four wins in a row?
