This month's prize event - taking place on Thursday 23rd - will be a team Capture The Flag event, in a specially designed area. The participants will be sorcerised and split into two teams, and each team will be tasked with capturing the opposition's flag as many times as possible while preventing their own flag from falling into the wrong hands... Killing, of course, is a valid means of doing this, and your team will receive additional points for kills. A variety of objects will be at both teams' disposal for both offensive and defensive purposes.
Each member of the winning team will receive 2 weeks of play, as well as 5k on a non-mage persona.
And bear in mind that this is completely experimental: a concept that works brilliantly in FPS games may well not translate too well to MUD2. If not, don't blame me for trying

sounds like a great idea Az but i doubt i would be able to play which is really annoying. Cheers for trying to bring in new things tho, whether it works out or not...good try.

The cft event isnt a 'new thing'. Cat used to run ctf events way back when. Anyone remember the ctf when the server nearly fell over and died with lag? 
Good to see another ctf tho, its been a while!
