I bought mud2.net. Any ideas what I should use it for?
Ideas I've had so far are listing when the next resets will start, maybe who played in them, who died, and providing a proper download page for Mudiiclient.
Maybe something like gist but for mud2 log snippets?

You could use it for random quizzes. Like this one.
Name the song:
Hovering above you is a large, golden eagle.
A large albatross glides above you.
*weather
It is sunny.
A beautiful bluebell blows bashfully in the breeze.
*drink phial
Although you feel really off-colour, you manage to force the medicine down
your throat...
Gulp gulp glug glug gulp glug SLURRRP! Down the hatch it goes!
Argle! The medicine tastes even worse than you were expecting! Ugh! It's
VILE!
(91/100).
A mildly unpleasant tingling runs through your veins, and then you feel
remarkably well and raring to go!

Here's what I've prototyped, predicting when resets will start (for folks like me that need to plan their evenings in advance):
Reset 71910 started at Sat 1 Aug 9:03:03
Reset 71911 should start at Sat 1 Aug 10:49:10
Reset 71912 should start at Sat 1 Aug 12:35:17
Reset 71913 should start at Sat 1 Aug 14:21:24
Reset 71914 should start at Sat 1 Aug 16:07:31
Reset 71915 should start at Sat 1 Aug 17:53:38
Reset 71916 should start at Sat 1 Aug 19:39:45
Reset 71917 should start at Sat 1 Aug 21:25:52
Reset 71918 should start at Sat 1 Aug 23:11:59
Reset 71919 should start at Sun 2 Aug 0:58:06
Reset 71920 should start at Sun 2 Aug 2:44:13
Reset 71921 should start at Sun 2 Aug 4:30:20
This example is in Pacific time because that's my time zone.

Well done to everyone who got the quiz right, the song was of course Feeling Good, by Muse and someone off of x-factor.

Could you provide the link? mud2.net just seems to give a list of .com sites.

There's nothing to see on the site yet. The link should be http://mud2.net/

I fixed it for www.
The site now does something useful. Give it a try and see if you like it.

is this dynamic - so if a wiz does a reset eg to start a bash it will reflect on that site?
if you had done this on FB I’d press the LIKE button

It's up to 10 minutes out of date. I was thinking of adding the a comment-on-a-reset option for coordinating playing with others.

not sure about the comment idea - whilst it would be useful for the stated reason - it would also tell those nasty horrid Pkers out there who was planning on being around.......

Kiwijock - why don't you re-post a favourite article from muddled times on mudii.co.uk's main paige?

cos there are WAY too many!!!!!!
Also - posting an article here would lose all the formatting that is on the original site

Aw, I was going for a song by the Eagles (or the Byrds maybe). Something along the lines of "Do Something"..
