Well, the first mobile bash in a long time actually happened, and it was more successful than I thought it'd be. Not entirely successful, but we'll get to that.
It got off to a slow start, as only Kiki the sorcerer and Zifzo the necromancer were actively participating. But they got to work, killing a few surface mobiles like the fox and a few others before killing basilisk and doing pillar. They then continued, killing other mobiles such as stag, coot, dove, water-snakes, and rats. Qorth the heroine showed up, and there were now three active players bashing, and the mobile count going down rapidly.
However, Zifzo, alas fell to skeleton1 in a close battle at the north mountain. This left The Land with only one active muser for a bit, but then Laura showed up and joined the bash. She was low mage, but still willing to participate.
Soon, the remaining goblins and rats were dealt with, and the dragon was disposed of. Laura and Kiki disposed of many of the keep mobiles, and Qorth and Kiki took on many of the lesser dwarfs. Laura disposed of stocky and hefty dwarf guards, and teamed up with Kiki against burly dwarf guards and the dwarf king and queen. The latter employed a good deal of wafer-stealing in the process.
As Laura took on the surly dwarf guards and Kiki took on the thickset dwarf guards in the treasury, Qorth encountered the ghoul.
Eventually, the mobile count got down to 11. The three dedicated players disposed of the wraith, the pony, skeleton2, and shark1, and the remaining fireflies, and a last dwarf or so. But alas, our heroes didn't have time to deal with the last two mobiles.
In the end, there were two remaining mobiles. The golem and one other which went unidentified.
But all in all, it was a more exciting and successful bash than anticipated. Let's hope we see one like it again sometime soon.
