I know I probably seem like a total brownnoser but quite frankly I don't care! Hehe. I think it would be a good time to tell those who worked so hard on the website how totally awesome it looks. Thanks for all the hard work cos it rocks!!!

Sorry to be negative, but I don't like the new layout. It seems great except for one thing - it seems to be 'best viewed in XXX by XXXX resolution'.

The website has been designed with a fixed width. There have to be compromises when designing a page, and with all the extra information that we'd been asked to add, it would not have been possible to keep it as it was.
The size was chosen quite carefully, and after some research into the width of other websites. Last month, 93% of visitors to mudii.co.uk had 1024x768 or greater (88% over 2006), so would be able to see the whole page (when the bookmarks pane is closed). The website is 890 pixels wide (including border).
In addition, the side-bar is designed so that visitors who have 800x600 can read the entire main panel without scrolling side-to-side. The side-bar contains information which is of relatively lower importance.
That said, your image does demonstrate that two important aspects of the front page aren't easily visible when you visit the site - the "connect now" button and "take a tour"/"getting started guide" in the newbie box. We'll play around with these to see if they can be made more visible on a smaller window, if people think that this is appropriate.

Hmm. If you made IE fullscreen and you closed your bookmarks tab then you should see it all, no?

Well, yeah, of course that is true. I'm just making the point that new visitors may see it that way too.
Another thing I've just noticed, the page title (you know, what appears in the title bar) of Game Info, Donations, FAQ and Contact Us seems to be "MUDII - Blank Page".
