Haha yup it is that time of year again my little ferrets. Time to polish your wands, fuel your broomsticks and get your booties down to Worthing!
October 6th...Mudmeet. Plan is going to be pretty much what happened last time if you were there- no damned bowling, a heck of a lot of pool, but I need your help deciding on where we can go eat this time because I am fed up with curry. Pizza, Chinese, steak?? Let me know what you would like to shove in your tummy.
Ideally I would like to kick off the meet at 1pm on the 6th and the meeting place will be the Vintner's Parrot down Warwick Street (I will post a map with direct route from main roads and train station in due course). If you could be so kind and post if you can or cannot make it here I would be grateful- would be nice to know how many people would be coming along and who to harrass into coming (only kidding)!

See you in the game, and hopefully in October.

I think, this time, I may be able to SS down to Worthing. Is the train near???

Nothing else on then, and have missed these little events!

Are all attendees going to be in the same Hotel, and is it near Zordell's meet point?

food - Steak will be fine, curry too, even Pizza or chinese.

I only eat food with a face!

V

Yay Vulnax!!! I am over the moon you are thinking of coming along. Please don't insert anything down my trousers this time though pretty please!
As for more information let me get this weekend over with as it is quite a hectic one, and I promise Monday I will post details on meeting point and anything else people might want to know...if they ask

A bit late saying I was supposed to do this Monday but what do you expect from a muppet?

Sorry about the length of these links.

This link gives you a list of Worthing hotels. I would suggest you try to stay as close to the town centre as possible, Marine Parade for example.

http://www.activereservations.com/hotel/ufi/en/-2612151?subid=PPCGO1-2612151en-5bSrEZH*OuWmDMiQzM6P6wS284046580&ws=

This next link is also for hotels to give you an idea on cost and if they are available for the 6th October.

http://www.booking.com/city/gb/worthing-aireborough.html?aid=303948;label=worthing-aireborough-YCVCR9HU83Iv6*qa20ChxAS759688701;ws=&gclid=COeQ46awvI4CFQmHMAodF1_Nyg

Heh this is where the links start getting really silly.
This is a map showing directions from Worthing train station to Warwick Street, where the meeting place is (The Vintner's Parrot).

http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=r&map=50.81359,-0.36809|17|4&route=GB,-0.37138:50.81476;-0.36751:50.81198,0|worthing train station:warwick street, worthing|Worthing, BN11 1:Warwick Street, WORTHING, BN11|lang=en_gb

This final link is of the area surrounding Warwick Street. If you are driving and are lucky you can park down Ann Street or around Steyne Gardens. If push comes to shove you can park in the multi storey which is the right turning straight after you pass Chatsworth road heading south down North Street. Parking along the seafront itself is another option.

http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=50.81369,-0.36604|16|4&loc=GB:50.81168:-0.36819:16|bn113dj|BN11 3DJ

Let me know if the links don't work or if you think you will need to contact me on the day and I will give you my mobile number, or if you have any other questions about the meet.

Okay, Thanks for listening to me waffle on! See you in game.

Additional: Sodding links. Cut and paste 'em hehe.

Where are other people staying, I see some one is staying at The Beach Hotel? Is that close to the Vintners Parrot ( great name for a pub ... )

Hehe I think most people are staying down Marine Parade (ie the seafront) which is roughly 5-10 minutes away from the pub if you walk slowly. Here is a map with Warwick Street highlighted, and Marine Parade is the most southern road so it is facing the sea.

Blib, nothing should ever be edited simply because now I am curious. You'll have to tell me in tells what you can't say in here
