To reiterate what Seamus has already said on the BB (message number 328) there will be a wiz vs mortal sorcerer war on Sunday 4th November starting at 6pm.
Seamus is organising the mortal team so please contact him if you'd like to take part or have suggestions on whom should play.
Since not everyone can take part in this event there will be no prizes, but this event will be followed up a few weeks later with a prize-winning event, keep an eye on the BB and forums for details of that.
For the peroid of the event (probably 1 reset) only the competitors will be able to enter The Land.
More details on the event will be posted closer to the time.
If you have any further questions please reply to this message or feel free to mudmail me.

Is it open to people who aren't paying to play?
I might have a crack if someone extends the happy hour to last the whole set.
Of course... The way things are now, the Wizzes will outnumber the mortals by about three to one, but still... I'm game.

Since this isn't a prize-giving event it is open to non-paying players.

A very good reason then for the mortal team to get some tactics together to ensure the event ends within the hour!

Don't know about you but I've always thought that Seamus was one of our best players...

I would say I'm one of the more "underestimated" players

/me wonders how Seamus is gonna pick a small team out of the large number of people who want to play.
/me hopes former MA members get preferential treatment

Methinks the wizzes have an unfair advantage...we should be compensated...

What unfair advantage is that, apart from Turrican, who I think counts for like 5

Bah, Turrican counts for a half. That goes fer the rest of 'you wizzes', prepare for a hefty bottie-slapping.

As per BB 340, the following is the mortal team which I have had to pick due to various reasons other people who should be here and aren't in the team.
Your mortal team:
1) Benny
2) Flick
3) Seamus
4) Sabretooth
5) DameEdna
6) Heiach
7) Art
Kurupt
Beware wizzes, these names may be etched in your heads for some time
