I have had a brainspasm and here it is.
I have created a new house called FC (Fight Club) aimed at helping people to practise their fighting technique and to have fun trying to get one over their mates. The theory is that people will be able to organise fights with each other in order to practise against people that are similar skill levels to themselves. Some people don't get to do much fighting and this can give them a good fun opportunity to do it.
So heres how it will work:
Me and Hal have been knocking our heads together and have worked out a kind of league system based around a ladder (actually Hal pretty much did everything and i nodded a lot). The details of this will be turning up at some point tomorrow. It cleverly allows people to pick opponents that are a similar level to themselves but should avoid higher level players tackling less experienced ones (unless at the latter's request). We are hoping to get the wizards involved to give out prizes each month for a few different awards yet to be decided. Perhaps every once in a while we can have special cups as well (kind of like a premiership FA cup scenario)
On the whole though, this is a house designed for players that don't know too much about player vs player fighting, and would like to find out more and perform some in-mud slaughter.
So if you see me or hal about ask us what the dealio is and join up

Sounds good to me.
What does FA stand for? Is it what I think?

The edit was on his original reply that somehow got quoted by me. Check the date and time of both edits. They are the same.
It's me! Confusion reigns.

Ah yes, I should have noticed the text underneath the edit, which isn't possible if it was real.

Hello everyone! I've noticed from the fights that have taken place so far that with a non-magic fight its probably best to avoid doing ones that end with death. The reason for this is that because people can run off and hide so easily the fights end up taking all set with neither player able to find the other. The FC has started brilliantly! Lots of people are getting involved, and a good few people have taken part already which is awesome! Remember to mail hal before and after fights to confim both players are up for it.
