CF,

Is mudmail different from a PM on the forum?

If you think it advisable, I can edit this out from public gaze.

A PM is a private message sent through the website only. When you send one the recipient will see the message "You have 1 new private message" at the top of the forum, when they next log on.

A mudmail is sent from within the game. From the Option menu, type M and then H to get instructions on how to use it. Or if you just want to send a mail, its M then L. Depending on their settings, the recipient will either see that they have a message when they next log on to MUD, or when they next check their mails.

Hope that helps.

In addition to what Crazyfool said, players should not have to tolerate personal abuse. If you feel that a player has stepped over the mark you can make a complaint either by mudmailing the arches in-game or by e-mailing admin@mudii.co.uk. Please include the reset number the abuse occured in.

This quote is taken from the rules section on the FAQ page here:

http://www.mudii.co.uk/faq.php

"No personal abuse. Abusing other players will not be tolerated."

Thanks for all your advice. I have censored the original, sent a mudmail to the player in question and emailed Karya.

Yea, well I had a tearoom conversation the other day, here is my log

Heiach says, "FU Crowley, you suck. I hate you. You scumbag"
"man, you are so out of order, I'm telling"
Crazyfool the wizard says, "tough luck, loser, go to hell in a handbag, haw haw haw"

I DEMAND THIS OUTRAGE IS FIXED.

BRING THE DRAMA

I apologise publically to Royston,

It was meant as a jest - though in bad taste I admit.
It didn't even occur to me you would be offended - was trying to make people laugh, including you, was meant as a joke is all...
I understand you not being impressed by it though,
Sorry mate Won't happen again.

/Zedar.

Zedar,

Thank you. That could not have been easy for you to say. I appreciate it. Let's forget about the whole unfortunate incident.

I find your lack of drama ... disturbing, commander.

I go away for a week and this happens.

Can you repeat in full on here the exact conversation and Royston's reply which started this thread?

Or send me a PM...you know how to PM people now Royston.

I promise I won't tell any one what was said once I've read it.

I may as well add that Armand regularly abuses me and should be reprimanded and banned. (Even I'm getting bored of me on this particular subject to be honest).
