No bash report for last week?

Does everyone want a change for this week? How about a Treasure Hunt instead? This is basic idea behind a treasure hunt:

The Treasure Hunt is a twist on the usual Mobile Bash. Rid The Land of all its treasure - by any means! You will have a reset in which to get rid of all the treasure in The Land - by swamping it, by destroying it, or by using it for whatever purpose it was designed (or not!) However, if you succeed there will be a bonus to every player to the value of 5 times the total number of treasure items swamped (on top of points scored for swamping the treasure)! To receive this bonus you need to be in The Land when the last piece of treasure is disposed of.

It's always what people do with the icicle that spoils it

Yes, trinkets are considered treasure.

This is an event where team-work is really important. Some preparation is useful too. There are certain items that you'll have to think very carefully about to make sure that they don't get stuck.

Here are a couple 'rules' for the event:

Player-killing (including attacking) will be banned during the duration of this event.
Players with a score greater than 90k will not be allowed to take part.

Will there be a command like SV available?

In the interests of trying to make this event succeed, I'm putting together a list of items which if swamped/destroyed will be likely to make winning difficult/impossible, unless you know their significance. If anyone can think of anything I've missed, reply and I'll edit this list. In order to avoid possible spoilers, I've sometimes referred to entire areas/classes of items.

Items on dragon isle
Horn (both)
Foot
Cowl
Icicle
Cross
Gargoyle
Mining tools (unlikely they'd all get destroyed)
Mistletoe
Keys
Parasol / umbrella
Carryable mobile (mouse, fireflies etc)
Coal
Flute
Hedgehog
Conch
Finger / Fossil

Apart from those, it would probably be a good idea not to swamp useful kit items until the end.

Just some more useful information for you:

There will be a command specifically for this event - TSV (treasure survivors).
The Giant Realm and Redwood Area will be disabled.
Treasure that normally gets re-spawned won't, once it's gone it won't be coming back ...
... with the exception of the Grandfather Clock. You will need to repeatedly swamp that or leave it until the end.

If something's in a (possibly locked) container when swamped, is that ok or not?

Edit : Armand, perhaps add 'a carryable mobile'?

Can always resort to k pla.wd if necessary, but still falls within the definition of "difficult" as opposed to impossible, so I've added it to the list. Thanks!

I believe that an item will be considered as swamped/destroyed if it's inside a swamped container.

I would add the flute to the list of capability T. Though not essential it's useful.

And is it worth mentioning the Coal? It might be easier (looking ahead) if the coal were disposed of in the conventional manner and not just swamped.

Yes, if there is treasure inside a container that has been swamped then the treasure is considered swamped also. But it's worth pointing out that the bonus for the successful completion of the event is based on the number of treasure items swamped. This value is based on directly swamped treasure, not treasure hiding in containers (or destroyed treasure).

The hh? Would make things easier if someone's able to do the normal thing with it.

Edit : Beaten to it.

Edit 2 : Is there a trick with the cord? I don't know what can be done with this, perhaps it's a non-issue or someone else knows?

Edit 3 : Finger.

4 : Conch? Not sure about this it's been a while since I used it for what I'm thinking ...
