There's a thread called 'Where's Fiz'?!
Hi Blib  I'm in London, safe and sound. And yeah, all I wanted to do for about 2 days was sleep. My flight from Houston to London was delayed by two hours. Story: We taxi away from the gate, onto the runway, waiting for our turn to take off. We wait. We wait some more. 45 mins later, there's an announcement: Our fuel pump is broken. The pilot (reassuringly?!) says "we can still leave without it, but we'd like to try and fix it if we can." Uhhhhhh.. yeeeeah! PLEASE do, thanks!! They taxi us back to the gate. An hour and fifteen mins later, it's fixed (we think) and we take off. So a 6 hour flight ended up being 8 hours. All in all, not so bad... I didn't die, for one thing.
