Not a review.
how many were on / playing?
I came on after 10:10 and only seemed like Royston and me in the game, a few on WHO but in the tea room.
There was a post asking for more support for the bash, did many others come along?
Hope more on for the Sunday easter bash thingy.

I was on at the start but called out to work.
I spent most of the early part of the bash on the phone til I gave up and went in to work.

BASH REPORT FOR THURSDAY 1ST APRIL 2010
By far the most spectacular event took place in the Tearoom before the Bash even started. I will not go into detail or dwell on it. Let us just say that CF had a problem with the plumbing and leave it at that.
For once I did my check right at the start. There were 158 mobiles to kill in 105 minutes. That?s 1 hour and 45 minutes (I think). At the time (9.01pm precisely), only Madcap and I appeared in the list of players. Others may well have still been on their way in. Sheol the Hero could not have been far behind. He helped me out with my first mobile, the Thief, who had some kit I was after.
There were a number of Easter Bunnies about one of which I killed together with a couple of zombies when chasing around after the Grand Father Clock intent on doing the pillar. The dropping of the pillar did not go according to plan. Somehow, and I cannot explain it, I had both Pointers in the Classical Ruin and the Pillar was still where it normally is. Whilst I was fighting the Basilisk, Capslock the Superhero came into the Land. So now we were three. There was nothing to show that Madcap was still in.
Having sorted out the pillar problem I went on to the Goblins. Meanwhile there had been the sound of a dragon dying. Foddy woke me up and gave me an Easter Egg. It went down a treat. I now wonder if it had a greater value swamping it than eating it. But eat it I did.
The rabbits were strange - ?wh rabbit? produced the response ?Your spell does not find any?. I took this to be an indication that they had all been killed and I rashly shouted this information abroad only to come across two more.
With 41 minutes to go there were still 108 mobiles left. Our work would be cut out to achieve a win and with only 3 players it was unlikely to happen.
It was even more unlikely when we were reduced to two players as Sheol fell to a Watersnake. I went down the well and immediately came across the Longsword with which I attacked the nearest Watrersnake. That got me 404 points. Obviously it was the one that killed poor Sheol.
A check at 10:05pm showed that I was the only player still in the game and with 41 minutes left there were still 108 mobiles alive.
By 10:15pm Nakor the necromancess had appeared on scene. I ran the Hedgehog for a bit then killed it when it reached a value of 634.
After that it was Nakor and I on the Dwarfs. We were working our way steadily through them when time ran out. My final check showed 51 alive with 2 seconds to go.
I thought it was an enjoyable bash even though we did not succeed. I cannot explain why it was different from last week?s. Somehow the atmosphere was so much better. Perhaps it was the Easter Bunnies or the abundance of Easter Eggs. We still suffered from lack of numbers. The most playing at any one time was three and that simply is not enough.
The Check I use is on a macro and consists of: qw.sv.date.reset. Not only does this help as we go along but it is invaluable when doing these reports the day after.

I always find Bash's where Turrican is visible have a certain sordid ambience. Almost like waking up in a pub toilets with no underwear.....

There do seem to be a few seasoned players who have opened new accounts and lurking behind fresh personas. I wonder why.
