After our dismal failure (I am referring to last week's Bash when no one turned out), shall we ask Sabretooth to put on a quest? We still have two uncompleted ones from last year.

Yes. Lets ask Sabre to run a quest. Lets hope he can make it. Being the only Wizard left is an awful strain on him.....

I am sorry, Cf, I did not mean to trample on anyone's finer feelings, least of all yours. We see a lot of both you and Sabre and on most Thursday evenings one or both of you are there. We all appreciate what you do. But it does bring up a valid point. If you enter the command WIZARDS from inside the game you get a list of you all. You the are most recently appointed at number 41. Five, I think, are Arch Wizzes and two have been de-wizzed. That leaves something like 33 or 34 whom we never see. That I think is a shame. I does give the impression that they found Wizdom a disappointment and they have left the game. Or did they open a new account and start again?

Please don't go on strike. My observations were not a reflection on the behaviour of Arch-wizzes in any case. Most of us realise you are about a lot and prefer to remain invisible. I once stumbled upon Foddy down in the Badgers' Sett. I didn't think it proper to enquire. I was just curious about this black hole that many players disappear down as soon as they get to Wiz.

Don't worry, I wasn't being serious.

I can think of a few reasons - they considered the game completed (and moved to the next game), they left during pay to play, it was 12 years ago when they were 15 (wireplay players were mostly kids), they live in a different timezone, they pop on sometimes but don't go vis much, they play incognito occasionally, they were a secret second persona of another wiz/arch, they got bored due to a lack of mortals killing each other (hint hint).
