The Future of Muddled Times
Unless you've been in hibernation for the past 6 weeks you'll know that I've been carrying out a poll to find out whether it is worth keeping Muddled Times going.
So far all of the poll results (except for one) have been positive. Those who have filled in the poll have indicated that you want Muddled Times to keep going and you would preferably like to see it out every month. Thank you to everyone who has returned a poll and the comments have been very helpful.
However, there are people who have read my editorial (and therefore know about the poll) but haven't filled in the poll. I presume that these people are either not bothered about Muddled Times or don't want it to continue (I accept that some of the hits on the editorial will be people refreshing the page or going back to re-read it).
So what happens now? Well, the June edition will happen as scheduled but what happens after then is up to you. I'll do a proper evaluation of the poll in the June edition after I have collected all of the results.
To keep Muddled Times going bimonthly and to even consider the possibility of it going monthly I need more contributions. These contributions can take place in the form of a regular column (gossip, horoscope, newbie help, artwork, news, jokes etc), serious articles, event reviews, fiction, letters, quizzes, hints and tips about the game, or anything else at all as long as it has something to do with MUD2. I know a lot of people have said to me that they would like to help out but don't know what to write about.
Would it help if I posted suggestions and ideas for contributions here regularly?
If you have any ideas or want to comment on anything I've said here please reply to this thread. Otherwise e-mail me at karya@muddled-times.com. I won't disregard anything sent to me anonymously and I'll certainly honour any requests that anyone has to remain anonymous.
Thank you,
Karya

Karya,
I believe the threat of MORE articles written by yours truly may spur other more talented writers to contribute. I therefore suggest I write a lot of fiction and columns for your site under different psyeudomns and see what happens.
The future of Muddled Times doesnt lie in the readers, it lies in how much webspace you can dedicate to midget pornography and/or pictures of men with false teeth. I have studied the results of your "poll" and they are utter rubbish.
We want porn and false teeth. Its as simple as that. Now, I have been banned from Mud after an incident with Hawumphs trousers or "pants" as you Americans call them.

Midgets with false teeth?
I could see my way into knocking up a few things each month without a prob. I AM VERBAL DIAHORREA MAN.
How about logs? It's my favourite section of Hawumph's site (because I'm in it, weeeee). If there's something everyone likes, it's their name in lights... People could send in logs each month, and the best gets published - so long as they're sent in in the CLIO format, they take no time at all to put up - cut and paste...

I can't help myself. I agree with Crazyfool. I too will write more articles unless others contribute! So you all better get writing!

Avoid midget pornography, it is the pastime of ill educated dwarfs. It's not big, and its not clever!

Thanks for offering to write articles. The deadline for the next edition of Muddled Times is Wednesday 28th May.
About game logs ... Many people have asked me to put game logs in Muddled Times before but I have always resisted doing so. At the moment there are three other websites that invite people to send in logs - Hawumph's, Vulnax's and Velanor's sites. I wouldn't want to take away or dilute material from their sites and I always think it's good if there isn't too much overlap between sites.

I can supply pictures of men with false teeth at a reasonable cost, I think you'll find I have competive rates, I have humours pics, serious pics, pics that will make you think about the consequences of false teeth, false teeth in nature, false teeth in todays society. I can also offer custom false teeth pictures at a slightly raised cost.
Should you require a family false teeth portrate these can be arranged on an individual basis.

On a simple note lacking any dental products,
Muddled times gets my vote!

Only a few more days to go to get your articles in. If you hadn't already picked up on it, the enthusiasm for this edition will determine the way to go in the future i.e. few articles, few Muddled Times.

This is what I get for going on holiday for about two months
Is it too late to pull one of the many articles I have out of the wardrobe and pop it in the mail?

No it's not too late. And I got it - thanks. It'll be in June's issue (which is out on Sunday and NOT Saturday like I had been telling people. I got a bit confused as to when the 1st is!).

Yeah but she started all this in April's Muddled Times - that's like 2 months?
