I like to stay up to date via a RSS reader. So I naturally would like mudii to support RSS for forum content  .
I didn't invest a lot of time into reading up on it, but this phpbb mod seems to be popular: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=349668&highlight=syndication
Is anyone else also interested in having this feature?

That's a good idea - I'll have a look at the module, although there may be problems with versions.
