Read about it and download it from:
http://user.cs.tu-berlin.de/~merlyn/mud2pj/
--------
I'm not planning to add any new features to mud2pj for a while. I want to wait and hear back from users before I do any more work on it. Of course I will still fix any bugs people find.
I wanted to post a list of issues that I am aware of:
1. The first time I start the client after switching on my computer, I can't type anything into the client. I have to close it, and start it again. [fixed, need java 1.4]
2. Snoop windows are not always reused. It doesn't seem to be consistent about it. [will fix in 0.9d]
3. Sometimes extra ? and box characters are displayed before choosing a persona. [will fix in 0.9d]
4. There's no word wrapping on commands you enter. So if you type a very long tell, then you won't be able to read all of it later when mud echos it back to you.
5. Sometimes the program reports: Unknown host exception: mudii.co.uk. <-- but this could just be my dodgy network cable.
6. I've seen it hang after being ejected from a reset with "Something magical is happening". [I've noticed that this is only ever as a guest]
If anyone else has anything else they've noticed.. post them here.

Dunno if this is still updated, but there seems to be a problem logging in at the moment with this client, since the change to free. I can log on as a guest fine though.

Dosen't work for me now, which is odd because I've been using the client fine for ages. I guess it stopped working when MUD became free...or that may just be a concidence.
It's annoying though because this is the only specific MUD2 client that I could get to work with OS X.
(Even odder is the fact that it still works fine with 2.com)

Yeah, I logged in fine in the happy hour just before the change to free, but nothing since.

Hi - going free should have made no difference to the client accessing the game, unless it makes a connection to the website, which is the only real change.
It's really odd that it works for a guest account and not for a proper account. I'll contact Havoc about it.

Oh dear. I can't imagine what the problem could be. Unfortunately I mislaid the code to mud2pj about three computers ago.
Nice to see that two people were using it though! The best I can offer is to have you guys use the new client, and let me know what the most loved features were so that they might be prioritised.
I'm not sure if the new client will work on OS X on PPC architecture, I think only OS X with x86. I have yet to investigate properly.
Sorry about the lack of good news here.

The mudiiclient is coming along. Good news, it will work with Mac OS X on a PPC.

This client is working now, for whatever reason. I'm logged in right now.
