Vampire can't drink the blood of their own.
and if everyone was a vampire, the plannet would become bare..
I thought vampire lived for a long time, and weren't immortal...
depends on what films you watch...
Under the assumption that the vampires that now cover the word didn't "change" animals, they could drink their blood.
They could/would probably set up some sort of ranking system, so that the worthless immortals get killed via a steak through the heart..
thinking..
vampires (even if they never die of natural cuases) aren't immortal.... Immortal meaning, that they will never die.. because they CAN be killed with a steak!

I'm sure even mortal people can be killed with a steak if it was thrown hard enough, or dropped from a high-enough place.
