Answer: SubSpace is class, very addictive, it's nothing like MUD though. It's a shooter type game, hard to explain, ever play Gravitation? Kinda like that, but with loadsa different game types and other dudes all over the show. I can't find the official site, but get yourself to http://www.subspace.net/index2.shtml and download the latest Continuum client, cause it's shit-hot.
Infantry is not as good in my opinion, but many swear by it. Infantry is located at www.station.com, just click on "Infantry" at the side. It's a reasonable game, for a freebie. Loadsa people play it toooooo.

I play Infantry.
Got a bad kill to death ratio because I let my m8's try the game out.. and die.
its ok
gets annoying when it decided to lag me or to simply mess up..
ie.. with me not getting 3/4 of the kills I deserve.....

Continuum reigns supreme when it comes to free online gaming... Word is bond... It got online game of the month this month, beating off retail games.
